Coskun 2018 [1] first described the drug, while Willard 2020 [2] tested its two gut-hormone effects. Frias 2021 [3] compared it with semaglutide in type 2 diabetes.
Jastreboff 2022 [4] reports the main SURMOUNT-1 obesity results. Aronne 2025 [5] reports the later SURMOUNT-5 comparison.
